Angulo has scored 13 league goals and also scored a penalty in the first leg of the semi-final against Mumbai City, but even his efforts were not enough to get his team to the ISL final last year.

Standing firmly behind his team, Arindam Bhattacharya conceded only 15 goals in the entire league campaign and 4 more in the playoffs to eventually score the fewest conceded goals alongside Amrinder Singh FC from Mumbai. However, Arindam won the award due to the higher minute per goal ratio.
